At KLIX Hair, we are committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional service. Because hair extensions and education services each have unique requirements, please review the policies below carefully.

PRODUCT RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

No Refunds

KLIX does not issue refunds for any reason, whether by cash or credit card. All sales are final.

Exchanges for Products Purchased at Full Price

We will gladly exchange any unused, unopened, full-price product within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions:

Shipping Costs

You are responsible for both inbound and outbound shipping unless the exchange is due to an error on our part.

Exchange Processing

  • Your replacement will be shipped once your return is received.
  • If you prefer the replacement sooner, we can ship it immediately and charge the amount to your card. A credit will be issued once your return arrives.

Final Sale Items

Sale or discounted items are final sale and are not exchangeable.

Products Not Eligible for Exchange

KLIX cannot replace any product that:

  • Has been colored, toned, or chemically processed
  • Has been altered in any way
    KLIX does not recommend coloring klixTENSIONS. Please color the client’s natural hair to match the extensions.

Before Applying the Extensions

Although all products undergo quality control, it is your responsibility to visually inspect the hair before cutting, installing, or altering it.

If you believe the hair is not up to standard:

  • Contact us immediately
  • Do not cut or apply the extensions

If a Problem Occurs After Installation

If a client experiences an issue:

  1. Review maintenance instructions with them as many concerns are related to routine care.
  2. If the issue persists:
    1. Have the client return to the salon immediately
    2. Contact us before removing any panels
    3. Advise the client not to remove the hair before you evaluate it

If we believe a product review is necessary, we may ask you to return one panel for evaluation.

If all panels are removed, do not discard them. The entire package must be returned for evaluation.

KLIX is a professional brand created exclusively for certified stylists. If a client experiences an issue with their extensions, all communication regarding product concerns, exchanges, evaluations, or support must be submitted through the certified stylist who performed the installation. KLIX does not provide direct troubleshooting, technical support, or exchange evaluations to salon clients or end consumers.

Defective Product Evaluation

If, after evaluating the hair, we determine it to be defective:

  • We will send a prepaid UPS envelope to return the remaining panels
  • An exchange will be provided at no charge if:
    • The entire original package is returned, and
    • It has been less than 30 days since delivery

KLIX does not pay for labor costs associated with removal, reinstallation, or correction of issues.

Important Notes About Human Hair

KLIX extensions are made from 100% human hair that has been processed. Because of this:

  • Natural dryness, texture variation, and color variation may occur
  • Longevity and performance may vary depending on installation methods, maintenance practices, environmental conditions, and product usage

KLIX is not responsible for damage, discoloration, fading, chipping, coating wear, dryness, breakage, shedding, tangling, or other issues resulting from:

  • Improper installation or removal
  • Excessive tension
  • Misuse of tools
  • Opening, manipulating, or over-tightening links
  • Aggressive brushing
  • Failure to follow recommended maintenance instructions
  • Bleach, toner, professional color, artificial dyes, or chemical services
  • Well water, sunscreen, chlorine, salt water, heat exposure, or sun exposure

Such conditions are not considered product defects and are not covered under this policy.

Response & Evaluation Time

We take all concerns seriously and aim to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

  • We strive to respond to complaints immediately
  • All product evaluations may take up to 2 weeks for results. 

CLASS, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATION PAYMENT POLICY

Deposits & Payments 

All deposits and payments toward classes, online course, or certification training are non-refundable.

In-Person Training:

If you cannot attend your scheduled class, the following terms apply:

For Classes at a KLIX Location

  • 10% of your deposit will be forfeited
  • The remaining balance will be credited to your account
  • You must reschedule within 3 months of the original class date
  • Failure to reschedule within this time will result in loss of the full deposit

For Private / On-Site Classes (Instructor Travel Required)

If travel arrangements (flights, hotels, instructors, car rentals, etc.) must be changed or cancelled:

  • You will forfeit an amount equal to the incurred cancellation costs
  • This may range from 10% of the deposit up to the full deposit
  • Any remaining credit must be used within 6 months
