How to Become Klix Certified

  • 1. Application

    Must be a licensed cosmetologist. To begin, applicants must submit an application prior to purchasing a course, so we can verify cosmetology credentials.

  • 2. Course

    Once approved, you will receive confirmation to purchase the online Klix Certification Course (see below for more details).

  • 3. Assessment

    After completing the course, a brief five-question quiz is required to confirm understanding of our process.

  • 4. Certified

    Upon successful course completion and quiz acknowledgment, you will be recognized as an official Certified Klix Stylist and can begin purchasing hair.

KLIX Certification Course

Become KLIX Certified — On Your Schedule, In Your Space

The KLIX Certification Course is a virtual, self-paced training designed for licensed cosmetologists who want to confidently and correctly install KLIX Extensions using our proprietary method.

This certification focuses on proper installation, placement, and technique, so you’re not guessing, improvising, or risking damage behind the chair. You’ll learn how to work with KLIX’s skin-like wefts and silicone-lined micro-links to achieve a secure, seamless, and natural result for every client.

The course is completed entirely online, allowing you to train at home or in your own salon, on your own timeline.

What's Included in the Course?

Your certification includes both education and tools, so you’re fully equipped from day one:

  • KLIX Virtual Certification Course (self-paced) - video & PDF versions. The video walks you through step-by-step of our process with a virtual hands-on experience. The PDF is available to read through.
  • KLIX Professional Tool Kit Includes: closer, opener, scissors, pulling needle, and super tool opener; value of over $200
  • KLIX Hair Swatch Ring

Toolkit and swatch ring shipped to you separately.

How much is the course?

The course investment is $500 and is non-refundable.

For an upgrade, you can receive a hair credit. The optional upgrade is an investment of $775.

What is the hair credit?

The hair credit is perfect for getting hair immediately as hands-on practice during certification or immediate use with your first client.

The hair credit is a value of $300 - same value as a Half Pack, 18" of hair.

The credit is sent to you after purchase of the course option of +Hair Credit. You'll use the discount code sent to your inbox for an immediate purchase of hair toward any hair product.

Once you've redeemed the credit, you will be able to purchase more hair upon course completion and passing the quiz.

For professionals who prefer hands-on, in-person instruction, KLIX Private Certification offers a personalized training experience tailored to your skill level, learning style, and salon environment.

This private class provides direct, one-on-one (or small group) instruction with focused attention on proper KLIX installation techniques, efficiency behind the chair, and real-world application. It’s ideal for stylists who want an immersive learning experience or team training within their salon.
